Teaching Conservation

Teaching assignments have taken an international dimension, and included courses and presentations to conservators, librarians and the general public. Some examples from Brazil are below:

An Introduction to Conservation - Two hour presentation by invitation of the Centro Cultural, Banco do Brasil, Sao Paulo.

Three-day course on parchment, conservation theory and conservation treatments, delivered to an audience of conservation practitioners in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

           

Four-day course on leather and parchment, from skin physiology to conservation treatments.  Delivered to an audience of conservation practitioners in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
